We’re Christopher and Brittney Nimtz, founders of Thanks For The Help Moving, Delivery & Disposal — Arizona’s most trusted family-run moving company. But before the trucks, the crews, and the interstate licenses, it all began with one small trailer, a dream, and a lot of heart.
When our daughter Isabella was little, I was a stay-at-home dad and Brittney was working in healthcare. She managed a local doctor’s office — doing everything from scheduling to patient care, running the show with compassion and precision. The work was meaningful, but it didn’t fill her spirit. She’d come home drained, not from the people, but from knowing she was meant for something more personal — a way to help people hands-on, from the heart.
Meanwhile, I was searching for purpose too. When we started helping friends move — one truckload at a time — something clicked. We realized that moving isn’t just about boxes and furniture. It’s about life transitions. Sometimes joyful, sometimes painful — divorce, eviction, new beginnings, or final goodbyes. Each job carried a story, and we found our calling in bringing comfort and laughter to those moments.

I’ll never forget our first move. We had the smallest trailer, barely enough tools, and a whole lot of optimism. I asked Brittney to “stand up” to help lift a couch — and she said, “I am standing!” That day, I hired our first employee and had my first panic attack. It was chaos, but it was ours.
Ten years later, Thanks For The Help has grown into a full-scale logistics company with 12–16 full-time employees serving all of Arizona and beyond. We’re proud to be known as the team that moves what others can’t:
Hot tubs, pianos, safes, pool tables, and 5,000-pound loads.
Estate cleanouts, donation pickups, and commercial deliveries.
Nationwide service with local heart.
Even the companies that move safes for a living call us when the job’s too big. That says everything.
